Imagining a Regenerative Narrative for Fashion: Lucianne Tonti
In this conversation, Lucianne makes a case for valuing clothes like our closest companions. She outlines two contrasting narratives for the fashion industry: one of warning if we continue to make and choose clothes made from oil—namely polyester—and one of optimism if we make and choose clothes made from soil. As Lucianne reflects on her personal appreciation for natural fibers and garments that last generations, she emphasizes the power of storytelling in renewing a culture of care for both our clothes and the planet.
