Biography

Tameka Peoples is a global agribusiness leader, systems builder and equity-centered strategist advancing land resilience and justice across cotton and apparel systems. As Founder and CEO of Seed2Shirt, she leads with a commitment to restoring ecological balance, strengthening rural economies and ensuring Black farmers and historically underserved producers are central to the future of agriculture and manufacturing. Tameka has built Seed2Shirt into a vertically integrated social enterprise operating across the United States and Africa, supporting hundreds of thousands of farmers and managing large-scale, climate-resilient implementation programs. Her work includes regenerative cotton programs and farmer-focused merchant services, with transparent supply chains that connect land stewardship directly to consumers and brands like Jordan Brand, Fanatics and Everlane.
